240 industrial units sign MoUs over Rs 10k cr at Alwar investors summit
Alwar: Under the leadership of Union Forest and Environment Minister Bhupendra Yadav, a district level investors meet was organized at Tanya Resort on Saturday under the joint aegis of the District Administration, Industry and Commerce Centre and RIICO. In the meet, 240 industrial units in Alwar district signed MoU for investment of Rs 10147.44 crore which will provide employment opportunities to about 26,605 people of the district.
Addressing the programme, Yadav said that the MoUs signed in the fields of education, tourism, chemical industry, automobile, agrifood, etc. will prove to be a milestone in the industrial development of Alwar. “ERCP scheme will be implemented in Alwar and other areas. Efforts will be made to build an international level convention centre here to promote sports,” he said.
District Collector Artika Shukla said that Atal Alwar Abhiyan has been launched to make Alwar a clean city and aid environment-friendly development.
