`2 LAKH REWARD FOR BEHEADING KILLERS’

Agra: Several leaders of Hindu outfits protested along with organisation members across UP on Wednesday against the heinous murder of Kanhaiya Lal in Udaipur, Rajasthan. Leaders and members of Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Mahasabha, Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) Bajrang Dal, and BJP Yuva Morcha held protests and burned effigies in several cities, including in Lucknow, Kanpur, and Agra.

Sanjay Jaat, spokesperson of the Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Mahasabha in Agra, announced that the Hindu Mahasabha will reward with Rs 2 lakh anyone who beheads the two killers of Kanhaiya Lal. He also demanded that Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot resign from his post as the killing took place because of the government’s failure to prevent it. Jaat said that the killers of Kanhaiya Lal had threatened to attack Prime Minister Narendra Modi and such threats cannot be tolerated

Protestors belonging to Hindu outfits demanded death penalty for the killers of Kanhaiya Lal and also stringent action against radical elements in society. Two Mulsim men had killed tailor Kanhaiya Lal in Udaipur over his support for expelled BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma. The killers shot a video of the act and made it viral on social media. The Rajasthan Police arrested both the killers from Rajasamand district in Rajasthan the very next day.
