Self respecting Gujaratis will not go for freebies: Gehlot

Surat: Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Monday said that there is huge resentment in people against BJP in Gujarat and the Congress is the only option for them. He said that people of Gujarat are not going to be deceived this time and will vote for the Congress. The CM also targeted the BJP over the issue of love jihad. At a press conference, the chief minister said that the situation of the whole country under BJP rule has become worrisome and there is an atmosphere of fear. He said that BJP is worried in elections therefore PM Narendra Modi and home minister Amit Shah are camping in Gujarat because the BJP is weak and the results will be surprising. He said that people of Gujarat are self respecting and will not go for freebies.

Talking about RaGa’s Bharat Jodo Yatra, he said that he is going to become the ‘Jan Nayak’. “The whole country today is supporting Rahul ji’s yatra. His move has worried BJP,” he said. “BJP has targeted one religion, on the basis of that, their politics is going on. BJP is getting the benefit of that. It is easy to start a fire but it is very difficult to put it out. If you construct a building, it takes time, but it takes half an hour to demolish it,” he said. “Injustice & oppression happen in country and society will have to come forward to stop them. BJP is doing politics of bulldozer while Rahul Gandhi is against it,” said Gehlot.
