PM PLAYS EMOTIONAL GAMES WITH GUJARAT, BUT THIS TIME HIS PULSE IS MELTING: GEHLOT

Ahmedabad: Voting for the first phase of the Gujarat assembly elections took place on Thursday. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot again reached Gujarat on a two-day tour to campaign for the second phase, where Gehlot held election rallies in Ahmedabad, Vadodara and Dahod districts. During these rallies, Gehlot said that UPA government, through MNREGA, provided employment in villages and gave the right to education. “Congress must come to power for change. Prime Minister plays emotional games with Gujarat, but this time his pulse is melting. Tribals have been respected since the time of Gandhiji. Congress and Gandhi family’s love for tribals in known to all. Today Rahul Gandhi is taking out Bharat Jodo Yatra regarding unemployment and inflation in the country, on which no action has been taken. Election of Gujarat is very important for the development,” CM Gehlot said.

On the other hand, Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge said, “Why atrocities are not decreasing in Gujarat. The wealth of the rich is increasing, the wealth of the poor is decreasing. The Center has not done any work for the poor. BJP always asks what Congress did in 70 years.” After this tour, Chief Minister Gehlot left for Ahmedabad from Jhalod and Friday is the second day of Chief Minister’s Gujarat tour.
