PM EXTOLS GUJ’S EXPORT PROWESS

Ahmedabad/Chhotaudepur: PM Narendra Modi inaugurated the event marking 20 years of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit in Science City, Ahmedabad. Addressing the event, the PM termed the 20 years of the summit as a “key milestone” in advancing the State’s growth. Gujarat ranks as India’s top exporter with a transactional value of $2 billion, Modi said summit transcends branding, symbolizing a deep-rooted connection between him and the 70 million residents of Gujarat.

‘I had sown a small seed 20 years ago and it has turned into a huge, vibrant tree today,’ he said. Noting that the identity of Gujarat in the 20th century was that of trade, the Prime Minister informed that the transformation from the 20th to the 21st century led Gujarat to become a powerhouse in agriculture and a financial hub, and the state got its new identity as an industrial and manufacturing ecosystem. All these changes have made Gujarat’s business environment stronger.
