If workers perform like 2017, then Cong can win 125 seats in Gujarat: CM Gehlot

Ahmedabad: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Monday said that the image of Gujarati people in the country and the world is different. “Where there are people of Gujarat, there is Gujarat,” he said while addressing the Congress’ Parivartan Sankalp Yatra at Vallabh Sadan, Sabarmati Riverfront, Ahmedabad in the presence of Rahul Gandhi on Monday. He said that when Gujarati people gather in any country or state, a ‘Gujarat like’ atmosphere is created.

During this, he also said that the victory of Congress is certain in the assembly elections to be held this year. “The way the workers had worked hard in the year 2017 assembly, if it is done in the same way, then there is a possibility of getting about 125 seats in the state,” he said. Gujarat Pradesh Congress President Jagdish Thakor and MLA from Jetpur assembly seat of Chhota Udaipur district Sukhram Rathwa addressed CM Gehlot as ‘Gandhi of Rajasthan’. Regarding Gehlot, they said that this time the Congress government in Gujarat is certain to form under his guidance. Meanwhile, Gujarat Congress in-charge and former Raj Health Minister Dr Raghu Sharma made a scathing attack on BJP’s double engine govt slogan. He said that this time the workers of Gujarat are fighting strongly. He expressed hope that the Congress will form a government with absolute majority by winning 125 seats in Gujarat. “These days the farmers and general public of Gujarat are suffering from problems like inflation, unemployment. To get rid of these problems, the people of Gujarat are willing to change,” he said.
