Gujarat Central University gets 'A' grade in NAAC rankings - The inspection was carried out by the NAAC team at CUG from May 16 to 18
Gandhinagar. The Central University of Gujarat has got 'A' grade in the NAAC rankings. A five-member team of the NAAC committee had inspected the central university from May 16 to 18, 2023. During this period, the university has got this grade on the basis of the university's state-of-the-art library, Wi-Fi campus, teachers' training, e-content, incubation center, department-wise progress report, sports facilities, mess, hostel and performance of students, research work of teachers, administrative office, confidential departments and progress report of examination department. It is noteworthy that the university has been given the best grading ever by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The research work being done in the university is famous all over the country. Five members of the team examined various aspects like educational facilities, infrastructure, and university atmosphere and gave this grading to the university. The result was declared by NAAC on Saturday. The Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. Rama Shanker Dubey said that the university has received this grade by doing excellent work in quality research work and innovations. Director of IQAC Prof. Atanu Mohapatra said that the team had inspected both the premises located in Sector-29 and 30. The team appreciated the university's research work as well as the unprecedented work done in science and technology.
Every department was thoroughly inspected Apart from all the academic departments, the NAAC team collected information about dispensaries, various clubs, new courses, teacher-student ratio, study and teaching in line with the new education policy, Samarth portal, computer and science laboratories, various flagship programs, patents and construction of new campuses and its master plan. Addressing the exit meeting, The Chairman of the NAAC team Prof. Anand Kumar Tyagi, Vice Chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth said that all the resources are being used better in the university and the new education policy is also being implemented, which a pleasant initiative is given the current scenario. He said that among the Central Universities started after 2009, the Central University of Gujarat has done excellent work in the research field. On this achievement, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Rama Shanker Dubey appreciated the efforts of all the teaching staff, non-teaching staff and officers of the university.
