Ahmedabad: The Correspondents’ meet of Hindi National News Channel Bharat24, which has started the exercise of reaching out to every Indian, was organised on Monday in GIFT City, Gandhinagar, Gujarat. While addressing the reporters from all Assembly constituencies of Gujarat, CEO and Editor-in-Chief of the channel, Dr Jagdeesh Chandra said that even while running regional channel, we were in the role of ‘Big Brother’ and now when we have brought national channel which will execute same role in a much wider manner. Chandra said, “In past, when Narendra Modi was declared the BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate, he had given us 3 interviews to connect with public, considering our then channel as the channel of the people, so once again we have to make Bharat24, the channel of common man. We are in the race for news, not in race for TRP and we will turn the channel race towards real news.” Dr Chandra stressed that the success of the channel depends on the hard work of every person associated with it.
