Dr Chandra’s electoral assessments are accurate, says Gujarat CM Patel

Ahmedabad: Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Bhai Patel praised Dr Jagdeesh Chandra and said that Dr Chandra has done a wonderful job in the field of journalism. The Chief Minister said that his government in the state is doing development work according to the vision of PM Narendra Modi, and hence Gujarat is at the forefront of development today. Patel said that the Gujarat government has made a different policy for development in each area of the state. Notably, Patel stressed that Dr Chandra’s electoral assessments have been accurate. Patel addressed the “Shikhar Samman - Pride of Gujarat” organized by First India and Bharat 24 on Monday at GIFT City Club, Gandhinagar, Gujarat. In this programme, Chief Minister Bhupendra Bhai Patel honored Gujarati and Marwari entrepreneurs with “Shikar Samman” for doing excellent work in many fields including business, education and real estate in Gujarat.

Addressing the gathering, CEO and Editor-in-Chief of the channel, Dr Jagdeesh Chandra said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has such a tremendous recognition of Grass Route Journalism that in 2012, he interviewed him 3 times for the regional channel ETV to reach the people of the country. “In the upcoming Assembly elections, national channel Bharat24 will reach the doorsteps of the common man like regional channels,” he said. Meanwhile, Home Minister Harsh Bhai Sanghavi said that Dr Jagdeesh Chandra’s work ethic is an inspiration. Sanghavi said, “Positive news of development of Gujarat will be shown on the channel. Development of Gujarat will be the model of development in the country in the coming times.” In the programme, Managing Editor of Bharat24 Ajay Kumar said that the channel is working on the meaningful mission of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of new India. “The channel is taking positive & right steps in front of the country & the world. Our goal is to show 1,400 to 1,500 news stories from every corner of the country,” he said. During the panel discussion, Amul MD RS Sodhi said that Amul has become ‘The Taste of India’ after a long journey. Adesh Dev Kumar of ‘Radio Column by Kumar’ included in the panel discussion said that at present, the real estate sector has an important role in the country’s economy and 15% of the country’s GDP comes from the real sector. Dr Devanshu Patel of Parul University said that there are not only jobs in the field of education but this sector is playing an important role in the field of nation building. In another panel discussion, Padmashree Madhur Bhai Sawani gave detailed information about the Save Water, Save Daughter campaign while Cancer Specialist Dr Ajay Hadiya said that there is still a need for awareness about cancer. During this, Dr Ketan Bhai Jota gave information about generic medicines and their need.
