"You are made to believe that you have a short life, there is always this clock ticking", Dia Mirza reveals getting best roles after 40
Dia Mirza recently revealed that she has had better acting opportunities as she has gotten older. She claimed that at the age of 40, she never imagined she would be able to perform roles like this because it is assumed that women only have a limited window of opportunity in their careers.
In Dhak Dhak, the actress will appear with Ratna Pathak Shah, Fatima Sana Shaikh, and Sanjana Sanghi in an all-female cast. They portray four women who set out to travel to the world's highest motorable pass while learning a few things about themselves in the process.
Dia shared, “As a woman, I don’t think I would have ever thought that I will get some of the best parts to play of my life after I hit 40. When you are younger, you are made to believe that you have a short life. There is always this clock ticking."
