Netizens are in awe as Prime Minister Narendra Modi meets Bomman and Belli from The Elephant Whisperers

On Sunday, The Elephant Whisperers' Bomman and Belli met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Tamil Nadu. The PM spent time with Bomman and Belli at the Theppakadu elephant camp in addition to visiting the Mudumalai Tiger Reserve. After The Elephant Whisperers won the Oscars recently, the two met the PM for the first time.

In the ANI-shared video, Bomman and Belli can be seen standing next to PM Modi as he feeds sugarcane to an elephant. PM Modi may be seen posing with Bomman and Belli in the images as well. He is greeted by the famous couple, who have their hands folded. One of the images shows an elephant resting its trunk on Prime Minister Modi's chest.

Soon after the pictures and videos were shared on social media, netizens were seen reacting to them. A user wrote, "What a wonderful gesture." Another user commented, "Incredible how he manages to reach out every soul who has brought pride to the country in some form or the other.. What dedication and energy he displays each day with significant travel across the lengths and breadths of the country.."
