Mumbai Police Tightens The Security Around Cinemas for Pathaan

Social media has been a hive of activity since Pathaan opened in theatres this morning. Shah Rukh Khan is making his big-screen comeback with Siddharth Anand's War after a four-year absence. Due to its impressive star cast, which includes Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, and others in key parts, the movie has generated a lot of hype among the general public. Mumbai police are ensuring that spectators have an uninterrupted experience while watching the movie on the large screens.

For the uninitiated, the movie has been embroiled in disputes in many cities. It has been in the news for a number of infamous reasons, such as the Besharam Rang dispute and the tearing of its posters in Karnataka.

Now in the latest turn of events, Mumbai Police have tightened its security around cinemas across the city. Yes, you heard that right! The latest media reports state that police personnel have been deployed in order to maintain law and order. An official stated that they don’t want viewers to get affected. 

A senior Mumbai police inspector said, “We are deployed here because Pathaan has been released. We want a peaceful environment and don’t want any viewers to get affected by any kind of unnecessary troubles. Full protection would be given to theatres and we will make sure that there isn’t any disruption during the movie’s screening at any theatre in the city.”
