With their documentary film The Elephant Whisperers, which is now officially the first Indian production to win an Oscar, producers Guneet Monga and Kartiki Gonsalves made history. A video of Guneet receiving treatment akin to a royal has surfaced online.

She was greeted in the customary manner with garlands, and people showered Guneet with flower petals in gratitude for bringing honour to the nation. She was also seen thanking the people who came to greet her at the Mumbai airport.

In the video that has since gone viral online, many individuals could be seen hugging Guneet. Many reacted to the video on Instagram.One user wrote, "Proud of you girl 👏👏👏👏👏 bravo you bring victory to our nation."
