Alia Bhatt recreates Gangubai’s White Saree Look

Alia won the 'Best Actress' at the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards in Mumbai yesterday for her portrayal of the legendary Gangubai in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Gangubai Kathiawadi. Her casual attire for the occasion also made us think about her on-screen persona.

Alia Bhatt demonstrated that wearing a Torani masterpiece at the 2023 Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards is still stunning despite its simplicity. A matching blouse and a beige pure silk organza saree made up the sophisticated, regal-looking combination. 

She wore the saree with an identical Kaner Geetika Blouse in the colour old rose pink, which had dori embroidery on top of a butterfly net. The blouse's back is also undeniably attractive. Although the outfit appeared straightforward, Alia Bhatt and the team made sure that the styling wouldn't detract from its allure.

The actress and her stylist made our hearts skip a beat by doing everything from letting her hair run down her back with a straightforward centre part to adorning with simple oxidised earrings and a black bindi.
