Zayn Marie Khan in Monica O My Darling

Despite hailing from a prestigious film family, Zayn Marie Khan is slowly but gradually carving her own path in the entertainment industry. And now Zayn Marie Khan a name that’s here to stay. Actress Zayn Khan is all set venture into the bollywood industry to carve her niche with the upcoming Netflix Film titled ‘Monika O My Darling ‘.She was earlier an Assistant Director for movies like  Kapoor And Sons, For her lead debut in the Hindi Film Industry she essayed the character of Anushka in the action thriller drama Mrs Serial Killer. She was last seen in Netflix’s ’Feels Like Ishq', and ‘Aryan and Meera’. 

Speaking on her character on the show the actress shared , "This is a really special film for me as the title of the film, Monica Oh My Darling is taken from the song, Piya Tu Ab Toh Aaja from the film Caravan which my Grandfather made. We were quite close and I feel really blessed that this film has tied me to him." Says Zayn who portrays the role of Shalu in the upcoming movie.

Speaking on her experience on working with the lead starcast of the movie she shared , “It was really wonderful working with them. The working styles of Rajkummar and I really matched. He is a fantastic actor. He would come on sets and want to do lines, and that is exactly what I like to do. So we had that comfort level right from the start because our working styles matched. It was wonderful to watch him and see what he does. Huma has a lovely energy. Whenever she walks into a room, she lights it up. She was the real fun element on the set.

Monica, O My Darling is a much awaited Hindi-language neo-noir crime comedy thriller film directed by Vasan Bala.The film stars Zayn Marie Khan alongside Rajkummar Rao, Huma Qureshi and Radhika Apte.The trailer promises a deliciously dark comedy.
