When Kangana Ranaut spoke out about Aditya Pancholi abusing her physically, the actress remarked, "This man who was my father's age hit me hard on my head"

Kangana Ranaut, the reigning queen of Bollywood, is one such celebrity who never holds back while sharing her ideas in public. She has always been quite outspoken about her struggles in the public eye, whether it be discussing her difficult times or dealing with violence from her ex-boyfriends. As we discuss this, we are reminded of Kangana's past comments on the painful and abusive nature of her marriage to Aditya Pancholi.

The Tanu Weds Manu actress confessed she was physically molested by Aditya when she was a teenager in an old interview. Ranaut said in a previous interview that she was 17 when the actor severely beat her on the head. The actress was quoted saying, “It was a very difficult and very harsh time. I was physically abused. I don’t have to go into details. I felt trapped. You feel people might help you. But there are no free lunches. But when you are going you fall for it. This man who was my father’s age hit me hard on my head when I was 17. I started bleeding. I took out my sandal and hit his head hard and he started to bleed too. I lodged an FIR against the man. He was my mentor turned tormentor.”

For the uninitiated, Kangana met Aditya when she moved to Mumbai to pursue a career in Bollywood, and the two briefly dated. They eventually broke up, though, when Kangana made serious accusations against Aditya, and things became nasty.

Aditya Pancholi, meantime, made headlines lately after the special CBI court cleared his son Sooraj Pancholi of all charges in the suicide of Jiah Khan owing to a lack of evidence.
