Up next: Witness the story of Venkatesha and Bhargavi, the avatars of Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi in COLORS' 'Laxmi Narayan'

Winning the hearts of viewers,  ‘Laxmi Narayan - Sukh Samaarthya Santoolan’ narrates the divine story of Goddess Laxmi and Lord Vishnu - considered the divine couple that governs the universe. A riveting storyline takes centre stage in the forthcoming episodes set amidst Tirupati — at the mystical and magical Temple of Sri Venkateshwara, where worshippers seek blessings, spiritual solace, and fulfilment of their prayers.

Sri Venkateshwara is known by many names, such as Venkatachalapathi, Balaji, and Srinivasa. He is a self-manifested deity worshipped all over India, the divine fulfilment of a heavenly prophecy and Lord Vishnu's earthly avatar. Balaji (as he is fondly referred to in North India) is revered for his benevolent presence that brings solace to millions of devotees. Devi Bhargavi is the earthly form of the goddess Lakshmi. She embodies grace and love from the heavens. Raised by sage Bhrigu and his wife Khyati after being born in a lotus flower, Bhargavi's journey reflects dedication and purity. She fulfils her role as the beloved daughter of Bhrigu by upholding these virtues; thus, she is also known as Laxmi's incarnation bestowing strength and compassion upon mortals.

The eternal love saga starts when fate brings them together. Lord Vishnu's avatar Srinivas descends to earth to wed Goddess Lakshmi's human form— Bhargavi, to fulfil a prophecy.
