Suhana Khan recalled having faced abuse from people

Suhana Khan, the daughter of superstar Shah Rukh Khan, is one of the most adored celebrity children in the business. Suhana turned 23 today, and her friends and supporters are congratulating her on her special day on social media. Today marks Suhana's birthday, and as she grows older, we reminisce about the day she confronted online bullies who made fun of her appearance, skin tone, and height. Suhana responded appropriately to those who had made fun of her appearance.

Suhana responded to the trolls on Instagram in the year 2020 by posting a collection of derogatory and vile remarks about them. Alongside the screenshots of abusive messages, Suhana wrote,  “There’s a lot going on right now and this is one of the issues we need to fix! This isn’t just about me, it’s about every young girl/boy who has grown up feeling inferior for absolutely no reason. Here are just a few of the comments made about my appearance. I’ve been told I’m ugly because of my skin tone, by full-grown men and women, since I was 12 years old.”

SRK’s daughter added, “Other than the fact that these are actual adults, what’s sad is that we are all Indian, which automatically makes us brown - yes we come in different shades but no matter how much you try to distance yourself from the melanin, you just can’t. Hating on your own people just means that you are painfully insecure.” She ended her note on a positive note saying she is extremely happy about the way she looks and that others should too accept them.

Suhana, meantime, recently made news as she was named an Indian ambassador for the cosmetics company Maybelline and gave a statement on stage with a lot of assurance. Even her pleased father praised her and shared the video of her speech.

Notably, Suhana is debuting as an actor in Zoya Akhtar's 'The Archies', a production that adapts stories from Archie's Comics. Agastya Nanda, a grandson of Amitabh Bachchan, and Khushi Kapoor, a younger daughter of Sridevi, make their acting debut in the Netflix movie. The creators of the film have already unveiled Suhana's first appearance, and they'll shortly reveal the movie's release date.
