SIIMA 2022 DAY 1 : Allu Arjun’s Pushpa wins Big

The first half of the South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) 2022 concluded on Saturday in Bengaluru. SIIMA Awards 2022: The Telugu and Kannada film award winners were announced at the 10th South Indian International Awards (SIIMA) ceremony in Bengaluru on Saturday. 

The event spans two days and features four South Asian film industries: Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam. Several notable stars, including Allu Arjun, Yash, Pooja Hegde, Kamal Haasan and Ranveer Singh among others.

Ranveer Singh, Yash, Allu Arjun , Kamal Hassan , DSP , Armaan Malik , Rhea Chakroborty , Rana Daggubati and other prominent figures from the Indian cinema industry attended the SIIMA Awards 2022, which was a star-studded affair.

A posthumous honour was also given to the late actor Puneeth Rajkumar. SIIMA is presented him with the Best Actor in a Leading Role (Kannada) for the movie Yuvarathnaa. Allu Arjun won the Best Actor Award for his iconic role in Pushpa. The blockbuster also went on to bag the maximum number of trophies under various categories. Apart from these, Vijay Devarakonda won male youth icon South, Pooja Hegde won female youth icon South, and the most popular Hindi actor in South India was awarded to Ranveer Singh while Kamal Hassan won the Lifetime Achievement award .
