Shilpa Shetty pens emotional note after mother’s surgery

Actor Shilpa Shetty Kundra’s last few days have been difficult as her mother Sunanda Shetty underwent surgery at Mumbai’s Nanavati Hospital. Now, the actor has informed that the surgery has been successful and spoke about her mother’s strength.

Shetty shared a picture of her mother, Sunanda, from the hospital. In the note, Shilpa hailed her mother as a 'hero' and wrote how seeing a parent undergo surgery is so disheartening for any child. “Seeing a parent undergo surgery is never easy for any child. But, if there’s anything I want to emulate from my mom, it’s her guts and her fighting spirit. The last few days have been a roller coaster. But, my hero and my hero’s hero saved the day,” she wrote.

“Please do keep Ma in your prayers till she makes a full recovery, my dearest #InstaFam. Prayers work miracles (sic),” she added.

Shilpa’s sister, actor Shamita Shetty commented on the post, “Our momie is the strongest love ya.” The actor’s post invited many well wishers from the film industry in the comment section.
