Shahid Kapoor teases fans with an update from his OTT Debut Farzi

First teaser of Shahid Kapoor’s OTT debut Farzi was released on Wednesday .  Directed by The Family Man fame Raj and DK, the upcoming web series also features Vijay Sethupathi, Kay Kay Menon, Kubbra Sait, Regina Cassandra, Zakir Hussain, Bhuvan Arora, Amol Palekar and Raashi Khanna.

In the short video, Shahid was seen painting on a canvas inside a studio, while looking at the camera and saying, "Meri life ka naya phase. Kya logon ko pasand ayega? Par artist toh artist hota hai, nahi (my life's new phase, but will people like it? But an artist is an artist, right)?" Shahid then winks looking into the camera, and as he exits the frame, his colourful abstract painting with the words Farzi written in yellow can be seen.

Soon after Shahid shared the post, directors Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K of the show commented, "Woohooo!! Shahid!!" His co-star "Raashii Khanna commented, "Finally," followed by a heart emoticon. 

Meanwhile, on the work front, Shahid Kapoor was last seen in sports drama Jersey, co-starring Pankaj Kapur and Mrunal Thakur. Apart from Farzi, he also has Ali Abbas Zafar's film Bloody Daddy.
