My Diwali will be working on Diwali. We were discussing on set about how there are some people who don't live with their families here and everyone was saying that we would not be able to celebrate with our family. So I said yes, but on the bright side, we will be earning Lakshmi on the day of Lakshmi Puja. Lakshmi ji will come to our house, that means will be working and how many people get such an opportunity? So let me be grateful. And let's be happy that we got this opportunity and of course,  I will be celebrating it with my family and friends after the shoot. I personally love Diwali. I get very excited about lights and the festive spirit.  I personally really love it, it's one of my favorite festivals. It also means victory of good over evil. So it means that everything I meant earlier was between Ram And Ravana but now it's the evil within us and the good within us. All of us have good and evil within us. And it means how we are able to out shadow the bad things with the good. I think this Diwali will be most memorable because I have got such a prestigious show Where I am playing Abhira. Something that has been a part of people's lives for 14 years is a  big opportunity. The attitude of gratitude is what makes me happy.

Diwali plans, there's nothing yet because We are shooting on Diwali also; So there are no Diwali plans at all. Well, see, for the past three years, I've been in Mumbai, but haven't gone to Punjab. Diwali isn't anything special for me, but when I was in Punjab, Ludhiana, we used to do a lot of lighting; our house is quite big. My family is there and  I'll miss my family. I'll do video calls and chat, and the biggest gift I've got this Diwali is 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai', all thanks to Rajan Shahi sir.

I will first pray and keep Diya's at home. I don't burn crackers but I love driving around during Deepawali. So mostly I will be visiting a couple of close friends and would be having some good home-cooked pakwaans and sweets. It is the light at the end of every dark tunnel. The comeback after all the struggles, fights, and sacrifices. Coming back to your family and loved ones is the nicest thing. Well the last Deepawali celebration in our old house in Meerut was the most memorable one as We painted the house, decorated it ourselves, and cooked some really amazing food. The last get-together with our local relatives and friends was something I can never forget.

Diwali is my most favourite festival. It’s the best excuse to gorge on rich food. Each year I spend my Diwali in Delhi with my extended family and childhood friends. But this time I’m in Mumbai. My wife will do the Laxmi Pooja and I shall take my Laxmi , my wife , shopping. Diwali signifies God’s grace, grand , new beginnings. I look forward to Diwali each year because I know , the best and the most festive week of the entire year is the Diwali week. Each Diwali , we remember all the previous ones and the fun and festivities. So next year , we shall talk about this one. And so forth. Each Diwali is special.

I always spent time with my family on Diwali. Diwali is that time of the year when the whole family is meeting each other and I like  decorating  the house. I remember my first Diwali after my marriage I had gone to Delhi my in-laws place and it's huge there.

About Diwali plans I want to elaborate in a few lines, "Diwali pass hai aur ghar bahut dur." Nothing much, just Enjoying with friends and Greeting people. Diwali is all about happiness and taking blessings of Goddess Laxmi. Most memorable Diwali is when I was celebrating it with my family.
