One of most incredible Director & Photographer Haider Khan opens up on his upcoming show, love for direction, & so much more!

One of the most incredible photographers and director of our times, Haider Khan is all about new experiences and creativity. We recently got an opportunity to have an exclusive conversation with him where he spoke about his love for direction, photography, working with Salman Khan and so much more!

When asked about working with stalwarts from bollywood how and working with Kapil Dev. He said, "Working with Kapil Dev was amazing! I have always idolized him. I only have 2 favorite players, he and Mahendra Singh Dhoni! So working with him altogether was a different experience altogether. To share a stage with him and talk alongside him, we are not making him act, because he is a sportsman so we used to just explain to him. He is a very experienced man, so it didn't require second retakes". 

Speaking of his show Driving with the Legends Haider said, "Driving with the Legends is a show where we will be driving around with the legends. Traveling in different exotic locations and we have an access to some incredible places in Switzerland. It will be all about Kapil Dev, and his experience, where he will be seen motivating people while taking adventures. We will talk about the culture and the food, so it's an incredible show where we will show the culture of Switzerland along with our star legends".

He then opened up on his experience of working with Salman Khan. Haider said, "My experience working with Salman Bhai is one of a lifetime experience. He has always been my favorite since day one, way before when I didn't work for him. He is a different person, as an outsider you'll be knowing about his philanthropy and all the good work he does for people. But there are certain things which I experienced only after knowing him, like his Intelligence! His intelligence is out of the world, you can talk about anything and everything under the sun. From geography to culture, there's nothing he doesn't know. He knows it all! So if someone doesn't know him. They might get intimidated but once you know him he is one of the most intelligent people you'll ever come across. I have worked with him since Dabangg, and for all the times I have worked with him, be it a photoshoot, music videos, or an ad film it has been quite an experience!". 

When asked about choosing between Direction and Photography, Haider responded, "Any day 'Direction', there's a huge difference between direction and photography. Photography is like Pali Hills and direction is like Mount Everest of course I love direction more as there are more than 100 things to do. You have so many people working with you, it's teamwork so it's a different experience altogether". 

Concluding his conversation with us he said, "My documentary is called Black India was screened at Halifax Film Festival 2022 in Canada and Durban International Film Festival. My documentary is about Black Lives Matter. And for photography, I won the National Award from Sony for my picture of a horse. I won Sony World Photography National Award 2022! And at the end of 2022, I was invited to Israel, where my work was displayed in their biggest festival called Photo Israel where five photographers from across the world were invited and I was the only one from India. The event was all about the world's best photographers and we five were honored there. And I was the first Indian ever to get Invited in those five photographers present there, so it was an amazing feeling".
