Nick Jonas reveals why sharing his and Priyanka’s parental journey was important

Los Angeles (California): Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra Jonas became proud parents of a baby girl, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas and announced the same earlier this year. The couple even shared a photo of the baby on Mother’s Day in May while carefully hiding her face. They mentioned the tough days they had to go through during the past few months as the baby had to spend 100 days in NICU due to premature birth. Now, in a recent interview with People magazine, Nick revealed why he and Priyanka chose to disclose their parenting journey on social media.

“I think that what we shared on social media was just kinda the feeling that we had, the gratitude obviously to have our baby home. But also, for each and every person that was part of her journey while in the hospital." Nick said. He added, “And make sure that people know that whatever their journey is, whether it’s something like we went through or diabetes or whatever challenges might come up, you’re not alone.”

He further mentioned that Priyanka stood by him as a rock in their trying times and called her a perfect partner. Nick in his post on Mother’s Day revealed how Priyanka inspired him every day and stated that she already was an incredible mother.

The couple tied the knot in December 2018 and welcomed their first child, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas in January 2022.
