Nia Sharma reveals why she chose COLORS' fantasy-romance-thriller 'Suhagan Chudail'

Nia Sharma has cast a spell on the viewers through COLORS’ latest show, ‘Suhagan Chudail’, leaving them hooked to its magnificent realm of fantasy. The talented actor has a streak of making all her creative decisions right and the fantasy-romance-thriller is no exception. Amassing love and a huge buzz, Nia’s ongoing show has charmed the audience with its plot twists, supernatural elements, and mesmerizing world. Following the show’s success, Nia finally spilled the beans about why she chose it.  
 
Expressing her first thoughts about the show, Nia Sharma said, “When I heard the unique title, I was a bit hesitant. After six or seven meetings, I began to think that maybe fate had brought me to this role. There was something magical and captivating about the name 'Suhagan Chudail' that tickled my curiosity and imagination. As an actor, one of the greatest privileges is to breathe life into a character that excites you. When the makers revealed the nuances of Suhagan Chudail's character to me, I was stunned. I realized it was in every way meant for me. After I said yes to the role, they revealed that I was their first and only choice; no audition was conducted for this role! I'm grateful to the makers for their faith in me. Their confidence in me and my excitement to try out something new are the reasons why this show is garnering popularity and love, I think. I thank the audience for embracing me in this special role.”
 
In the show, Nia’s character, Nishigandha, is on a quest for ultimate power by harnessing the power of Solah Shringaar. She aims to achieve this by ensnaring Deeya’s (played by Debchandrima Singha Roy) love, Moksh (played by Zayn Ibad Khan), using her beauty and cunning schemes. In the current storyline, Deeya sneaks into Nishigandha's room and is drawn to a mysterious sandook, recalling desert visions. Nishigandha interrupts, causing a tense confrontation. Moksh encounters Deeya with a bleeding hand and shows unexpected concern. Deeya and Jyotsna decide to investigate but find the sandook missing, with Nishigandha secretly manipulating events. A doctor's call offers hope for Moksh's mysterious condition, but Hari Singh's sudden intervention thwarts Deeya's plans. This dramatic turn leaves Deeya and Moksh's fate hanging in the balance, with unresolved mysteries and escalating tensions.
