Kangana Ranaut praises Ajay Devgn’s NY Cinemas weeks after claiming he would never promote her film

Mumbai (Maharashtra): Taking his world of cinema, a step forward, Ajay Devgn went ahead to open a four-screened multiplex in Ahmedabad under his company, NY Cinemas. Among the many firsts that the Cinemas offer to the city are a Dolby ATMOS screen for 320 people, a luxurious auditorium with 75 reclining seats, and 4 screens that can play 3D movies. While many praised the actor for his dedication to providing the audience with the ultimate movie viewing experience, it was actor Kangana Ranaut’s praise for the Singham star that caught everyone’s attention.

Kangana shared a screenshot of trade analyst Taran Adarsh’s tweet about the multiplex and wrote a lengthy note praising the actor and his efforts. “This is the best and most effective way a superstar can utilise his resources and influence, not only it generates employment it also increases our screen count... Number of screens in India= is less than 7000. Number of screens in China= more than 70,000. Congratulations sir @ajaydevgn”, the note read.

Meanwhile, Taran Adarsh’s tweet stated, “Ajay Devgn’s NY cinemas on expansion spree: opens 4-screen multiplex in Ahmedabad...* located at #aamrakunj at #moteraroad in #ahmedabad. * 4 screens. can play #3d movies. #nycinemas will shortly open in #anand, #surat and #rajkot.”

Although the actor can be seen praising her contemporary in her latest gesture, it was not long ago when she claimed that Ajay Devgn is someone who would never promote her film. “But Ajay Devgn will never promote my film. He will promote other films but will never promote my film. Akshay Kumar called me, quietly, to tell me 'hush-hush' that you know, I love your Thalaivi, but he will not tweet my trailer. Ajay Devgn goes and does a role in a female-centric film. But will he do that in my film? I will be more than obliged and I will be more than grateful if he does. If he supports my film how Arjun (Rampal) has. Of course, it is quite evident that they don't want to. I think all the actors should support me as I support them,” she had said in a past interview.

Named after his children, Nysa and Yug, Ajay Devgn opened this multiplex chain a few years ago. The new multiplex in Ahmedabad with a very luxurious interior. With an area of 25000 square feet, the movie theatre is located at Aamrakunj on Motera Road, Ahmedabad and offers four auditoriums, a movie lounge filled with action, a live kitchen and a mocktail bar that is unlike anything you've ever seen before.
