IFTDA President Ashoke Pandit Invited Hansal Mehta For The Masterclass,Moderated By Juhi Babbar Soni
The Indian Film and Television Directors Association (IFTDA) has been hosting a Master Class with top filmmakers from the Indian film industry where they discuss not only their success and achievements, but also the process of their individual style of filmmaking and sharing their life experiences.
Hansal Mehta, director of 'Scam 1992,' Citylights, and Faraaz, has now been added to the list. On April 7th, he was invited to take part in a Masterclass at Juhu's Iskon Auditorium. Notably, Juhi Babbar Soni, an actor, writer, and director, moderated the Masterclass and interacted with the special guest. Noted Producer & President of IMPAA Abhay Sinha felicitated Hansal Mehta & Juhi Babbar Soni.
Filmmaker Hansal Mehta said “I believe we learn from each others & for me it's a great platform where I can share my experience and whatever I have learnt so far with upcoming actors, filmmakers and others.” He also spoke about his latest film Faraaz which is trending on top from a very long time on Netflix.
For students of film and television, Hansal Mehta shares his experience and sheds light on his journey, including the creative and technical aspects of filmmaking. He also discussed the trend of long-form storytelling and the challenges that current filmmakers face, as well as shared golden words of wisdom about embracing failure and giving new talents a chance.
The list of filmmakers and personalities invited by IFTDA for Master Class includes Gulzar, Rajkumar Hirani, Vivek Agnihotri , Madhur Bhandarkar, Sooraj Barjatya , Anupam Kher, Shoojit Sircar, Imtiaz Ali, Mani Ratnam, Zoya Akhtar, Rohit Shetty, Farah Khan and casting director and filmmaker Mukesh Chhabra among others.
