How Drisha Acharya was introduced to the family by Karan Deol is revealed by Dharmendra: "They have all my blessings"

Veteran actor Dharmendra recently discussed his grandson Karan Deol's wedding as he prepares for the debut of his new movie, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. The wedding of Sunny Deol's son Karan and his long-term partner Drisha Acharya is scheduled to take place in Mumbai. According to reports, the wedding celebrations will be between June 16 and June 18. In a recent interview, Dharmendra described how Karan introduced his girlfriend to the family.

The renowned actor was thrilled about the impending wedding while chatting to ETimes. He couldn't stop praising his grandchild. He continued by referring to him as a 'good boy' and a 'caring person.' Additionally, he expressed his happiness over Karan's partner-finding. When asked how he learned of their romance, Dharmendra revealed that Karan first told his mother, who then told Sunny. 

Dharmendra learned about their connection via Sunny Deol. The seasoned actor was definitely pleased and immediately gave the go. Dharmendra added, "I said, 'Go ahead if Karan likes her'. Then, I met Drisha. The meeting happened at my house. She is a very sensible and pretty girl. And, she comes from an illustrious family. I am very happy for Karan and Drisha. They have all my blessings. I welcome the new addition to the Deol family."

In the meanwhile, it's been said that Drisha and Karan will exchange vows in a private ceremony before their loved ones. The Taj Lands End hotel in Mumbai will host the celebration. Karan made his first public appearance in the city with Drisha, who is the great-granddaughter of renowned director Bimal Roy, ahead of their big day. They were observed having lunch together in a café.
