Observing the Maha Shivratri fast while expressing our faith in Lord Shiva is a symbol of strength and truth.”

“Just chanting "Har Har Mahadev" and keeping Lord Shiva in my heart, constantly thinking about him, feeling his power and divinity within myself—that's the ritual, that's worshiping Shiva,” he added.

The actor has kept a fast most of his life on Maha Shivratri, with occasional breaks, but this time he is planning to do it throughout the festival. He also stressed that true happiness in life comes by the grace of Shiva, and through the divine hand of the Almighty.

“The greatest secret to progress in life is having the support of Shiva. When Shiva wishes, only then can we find joy in life. Keeping Shiva pleased with our actions should be our constant effort,” he concluded.
