Om Raut's interpretation of the Ramayana has drawn criticism for its subpar acting, subpar VFX, and tapori lines. However, Bollywood still has some optimism. Nitish Tiwari's Ramayana may be the industry's next ace, but the forthcoming movie is already being scrutinised for pulling off the largest casting coup ever.
The casting of Tiwari's interpretation of the legendary epic play has been the subject of extensive discussion and writing. According to a few tweets, pan-Indian actor Yash has reportedly turned down the part of Ravana in Nitesh's epic because the presumed protagonists, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, supposedly consume 'beef,' casting the most recent allegations into doubt.
Contrary to rumours, #KGF star #Yash hasn't turned down the #Ramayana offer yet.. The makers are still in talks with him for Ravana's role and everything is going pretty well so far.. The mythological epic will star #RanbirKapoor as Lord Ram, with #AliaBhatt likely to play Sita.

The clarification comes after an internal independent industry source was quoted saying, "The reports of Yash not doing Ramayana are absolutely baseless. Please wait for one of the biggest casting coups to be announced when the Ramayana team officially does it."
According to reports, Nitish Tiwari's Ramayana will begin performances in December of this year. According to rumours, the movie will start production in December of this year, starring Ranbir as Ram, Alia as Sita, and Yash as Lankesh.
The movie is reportedly produced by Madhu Mantena, Namit Malhotra, and Allu Aravind.
