They have been together for more than ten years and use every opportunity to express their love and appreciation for one another. The actress was recently profiled as a "global star" in TIMES magazine, where she discussed her marriage and the importance of elder generations passing along wisdom to younger generations. When her husband unexpectedly showed up in the middle of the interview to give her a kiss goodnight, she was in for a big shock.

Fans couldn't help but swoon about their adorable public display of love, while trolls dubbed it cringe-worthy and a PR stunt. Ranveer enters during Deepika's interview in the now-viral video shared by the TIMES Magazine and kisses her. The actor remarks that it is a 'cosmic thing to have happened' when she informs him that they had just been discussing getting married. Many even complained about how readily Indians disregarded their own superstars. One said, “As always… Indians hating Indians in the comment section…! The two actors fell in love with one another while collaborating on Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 2012 film Ram-Leela, according to the source. 2018 saw the couple's marriage, six years after they first started dating.
