Comedy King Raju Srivastav passes away at the age of 58

Raju Srivastava, veteran comedian who was admitted at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has died at the age of 58. Raju Srivastava had a heart attack on August 10 and was hospitalized after he complained of chest pain while running on a treadmill at the gym. He also underwent an angioplasty the same day.

After making millions laugh with his observational humour, the popular comedian Raju Srivastava has bid adieu to the world. He spent days on ventilator support fighting for his life. His 42 days of struggle for life has come to an end. 

Gajodhar Bhaiya as his fans profoundly called hom out worked in the entertainment industry since late 1980s, and received recognition after participating in the first season of the stand-up comedy show "The Great Indian Laughter Challenge" in 2005. He had featured in films like 'Maine Pyar Kiya', 'Aamdani Atthanni Kharcha Rupaiya' and 'Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon' among others.

Raju Srivastava  was one of the best mimicry artiste and a brilliant comedian who left many in splits when he took the mic on the stage. We might have surely come across someone like Gajodhar Bhaiya or someone similar. No wonder he tickled the funny bone of many. Thank you Gajodhar Bhaiya, for making us laugh.
