Britney Spears’ ex-husband crashes her wedding with fiancé Sam Asghari

Los Angeles (California): Britney Spears tied the knot to Sam Asghari in a secret ceremony on June 9, Thursday. The actress was freed from the inhumane conservatorship contract with her father earlier this year. But this milestone ceremony of hers was interrupted by her ex-husband Jason Alexander who gatecrashed the event. Alexander, who was the childhood friend of Spears, was briefly married to the pop star for 55 hours in 2004. He was chased and detained by the police outside the wedding venue, TMZ reported.

Alexander live-streamed the whole shenanigan on Instagram which showed him telling the security that Spears had invited him. As he went into an area filled with pink, there ensued some tackling and grabbing after which the screen froze and went blank. He was heard saying, “She is my wife, my only wife.”

Britney’s attorney gave a statement, “He has been detained, handcuffed and arrested for his disgusting criminal misconduct,” while thanking the Ventura County Sheriff’s department for their good and prompt work.

Meanwhile, Britney Spears and Sam Asghari got married in an intimate ceremony with only 100 guests in their presence. The couple who got engaged earlier this year went through a miscarriage a few days after announcing their pregnancy in mid-April.
