Audiences Want More Shows for Abhishek Bachchan’s Ghoomer

Abhishek Bachchan and R. Balki’s film Ghoomer has been receiving a lot of love from fans across the country and is being hailed as a must-watch.

Released on 18th August, Ghoomer marks Abhishek Bachchan’s return to the silver screen. Ghoomer has earned critical and commercial success since its release, receiving wonderful reviews from critics, cricketers and fans. However, one problem persists, many fans have expressed disappointment about not being able to watch the film as screens were not available in many cities. The cities that are screening Ghoomer, do not have enough screens to cater to the large number of fans that want to watch the film.

It’s a well-known fact that Abhishek Bachchan has a large fan following, especially given his previous works, like Breathe, Ludo, Bob Biswas, Paa, and the Dhoom series, among others. This is why many fans are excited to watch Ghoomer but are unable to do so due to the limited number of shows, a problem easily solved if looked into by distributors.

In an era where more intellectual and diverse movies are appreciated, a heartwarming story like Ghoomer not getting the coverage it deserves feels like an anticlimax. Fans all across India, and even internationally have taken to Social Media, asking for more screenings. Places like Mumbai, Bangalore & Delhi have little to no shows available, and those that are, have almost sold out, leaving fans longing to watch the film.

Reviews by critics and word-of-mouth reviews from fans have been strong and positive, leaving many wondering how such a well-made and well-received film has such few screenings. Demanding answers and solutions from the movie’s distributors, fans are making their love for Abhishek Bachchan’s Ghoomer well-known.

With so many fans clamouring to watch Abhishek Bachchan’s Ghoomer, movie distributors should look into adding more shows for such a well-received film, if not for the movie, then for the fans. After all, Cinema is for the people.
