As Karan Johar celebrates 25 years as a director, Shah Rukh Khan offers him a shout-out: You’ve come a long way baby

After seven years, Karan Johar is back in the director's chair. In July of this year, he will release Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, a movie with Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh. The much-awaited movie also has Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, and Dharmendra in pivotal parts. Shah Rukh Khan, Karan's best friend and celebrity, debuted the movie's trailer a while back and wrote a touching letter as he celebrated 25 years as a director.

Aside from their personal chemistry, Shah Rukh and Karan have collaborated on several amazing projects. Through their films, they were able to reinvent passion and feelings. KJo is back with Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani to wow the audience with his wonderful brand of filmmaking. On social media, Shah Rukh debuted the teaser and gave Karan a hearty thanks.

He applauded the teaser and wished the whole crew well. King Khan wrote, "Wow @karanjohar 25 years as a filmmaker. You’ve come a long way baby!! Your father and my friend Tom uncle must be seeing this from heaven and feeling extremely happy and proud. Have always told you to make more and more films because we need the ethereal magic of love being brought to life… like only u can do. #RockyAurRaniKiiPremKahaani teaser is looking beautiful. After he launched the teaser, Karan reshared it on his Instagram story and wrote, "Bhai I love you...now and forever" followed by red heart emojis. Meanwhile, fans were seen reacting to Shah Rukh's post. A fan wrote, "Why can't Karan make another movie with you??" Another fan wrote, "Who all r missing SRK- KAJOL pairing in Kjo movies?" 

After Gully Boy, Alia and Ranveer have reconciled. Netizens are thrilled to see them interacting in a Karan Johar-inspired way. The movie will premiere in cinemas on July 28.
