Mumbai (Maharashtra): Priyanka Chopra is a true global icon as she excels in her respective field and makes efforts to do better for society. She recently came Live on Instagram with Global Citizen CEO Hugh Evans, ahead of the Global Citizen music festival. The two had a discussion on many important issues including the eradication of poverty, climate crisis, COVID-19 pandemic eradication, women empowerment and more. Opening up about her recent visit to Poland and addressing the huge refugee crisis in Ukraine that has been created due to war, Priyanka revealed that it is important to eradicate poverty and end the refugee crisis to make the children’s future a better place. They also addressed the importance of providing equal rights and opportunities to women and children.
Further talking about the lineup of the show, the duo mentioned that with the Jonas Brothers, several other big names such as Metallica, Charlie Puth and Mariah Carey too will perform. Revealing her excitement about sharing the same stage with her husband, Priyanka said, “It’s the first time I will share the stage with my husband. It will be very exciting. I love the Jonas Brothers, but I’m so excited to see Mariah Carey and Rosalia.”
Priyanka Chopra, the global goodwill ambassador with UNICEF recently visited Poland to make the world aware of the huge women and children refugee crisis that has been created due to the war in Ukraine.
