Farhan Akhtar to be a part of the MCU with a guest-starring role in their upcoming Disney+ series

It is a time for all the Bollywood and MCU fans to rejoice together as a prominent collaboration is on its way! According to a report by Deadline! Bollywood’s beloved star Farhan Akhtar is going to be a part of the Marvel Universe through their upcoming series, Ms Marvel. The reports say that the actor has been couched for a guest-starring role, although further details about his character in the series have not been disclosed yet.

Ms Marvel is a Marvel series from Phase 4 and will be premiering on Disney+ Hotstar on June 8, 2022. The story revolves around Muslim American teen Kamala Khan who lives in Jersey City. Kamala is a superhero fan with an imagination, particularly when it comes to Captain Marvel; Kamala feels like she doesn't fit in at school and sometimes even at home, that is until she gets superpowers like the heroes, she's looked at up to.

The series stars Iman Vellani as the titular character with Matt Lintz, Yasmeen Fletcher, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Saagar Shaikh, Rish Shah and Laurel Marsden, Adaku Ononogbo, Laith Nakli, Travina Springer, and Aramis Knight.

Currently, Farhan will be next seen donning the director’s hat as he will start the shoot for ‘Jee Le Zaraa’, starring Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif.
