NGOs discuss contributions towards SDGs

Jaipuria Insitute of Management on Tuesday organized a Symposium on Sustainable Development where NGOs that have contributed to diverse fields participated and shared their journeys and experiences.  

The focus of the symposium was centered around bringing together non-governmental organizations (NGOs) focusing on sustainable cities and communities, education, and rural health care. The NGOs are extending their steps toward sustainability by adhering to the various sustainability goals listed in the Sustainable Development Charter issued by the UN. 

Representatives of NGOs and bodies such as Gomti Nagar Jankalyaanmahasamiti, Yug Bharti, Robin Hood Army (Hunger), Robin Hood Army (Academy), and Sarthak Foundation. Alliance Club International, Shubh Care foundation, Vaichararki Foundation and Child-Friendly School presented their philanthropic models, which were well appreciated by the audience present over there.  

The presence of eminent dignitaries Shri Harnesh Chauhan (Social Architect), Shri Om Shankar (Social Architect), Dr. Kavita Pathak (Director, Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow), and Dr. Reena Agarwal (Chairperson, Social Responsibility Committee), Dr. Shubhendra Singh Parihar (Professor, Jaipuria Institute) elevated the session to new heights.
