New Delhi: Bhartiya Janata Party MP Bansuri Swaraj on Sunday praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Mann Ki Baat' radio episode, which focused on youth's increased participation in the space sector, saying that the season of "brain gain" has arrived in India.
BJP MP Bansuri Swaraj said, "We have heard the program. This is a program that will make your mind happy and show you a new ray of hope PM Modi said that today India's youth has a new energy to start up."
She further applauded the Narendra Modi-led NDA government for emphasising the Start-up and space sector of India.
"They (youth) know that under the able leadership of PM Modi, the season of 'brain gain' has come in India and not 'brain drain', most of the start-ups, especially in the space sector are excited to work in India," Swaraj said.

"A lot is happening in 21st-century India, which is strengthening the foundation of Viksit Bharat. For example, on August 23, all the countrymen celebrated the first National Space Day. Once again, you all must have celebrated the success of Chandrayaan-3. Last year, on this day, Chandrayaan-3 landed at the Shiv-Shakti point on the moon's southern hemisphere, making India the first country to achieve this feat," PM Modi said.
"The youth of the country have also benefited a lot from space sector reforms," he added.
He praised the government's decision to open up the space sector for privatization and said, "During that time, watching SpaceX and the decision of the PM to open up the space sector and its privatisation, a landmark decision was taken in 2020."
"We were quite excited about this," he added.
PM Modi said that when a reform takes place in a sector, multiple effects are witnessed and many people benefit from it.
"The country's youth now want to try their future in this field here in India," he said.
