SC upholds SOG’s arrests in SI ‘21 recruitment scandal

New Delhi: The Supreme Court has rejected the petition challenging the arrest made by the Special Operations Group (SOG) of six trainees accused in the SI Recruitment Exam 2021 paper leak case. Additional Advocate General Shivmangal Sharma represented the Rajasthan government in the case. The bench led by Justice PS Narasimha dismissed the petition.

The SC upheld the legitimacy of the SOG’s investigation and Justice Narasimha dismissed the petition challenging the investigation. The court also restored the decision of the HC regarding the lower court’s ruling.

Advocates Siddharth Luthra and Siddharth Dave represented the arrested trainee SIs. After hearing the entire case, SC ruled in favour of SOG.
