Rajasthan House should be built on the theme of ‘Vocal for Local’: Diya

New Delhi: Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari said on Monday that the Rajasthan House in New Delhi should reflect the essence of Rajasthan, not merely serve as a building. During her inspection of the underconstruction site, she stressed that the facility should embody Rajasthani culture, making visitors feel as though they have arrived in Rajasthan.

She reviewed the progress with engineers and emphasised using Rajasthani artisans and materials to create employment opportunities and showcase Rajasthani art.

The foundation stone for the Rs 15,854.01 lakh Rajasthan House project was laid on May 29 last year. The building will feature 2 basements and 6 floors, with parking for 52 cars in the basement.
