PM Modi arrives in Parliament for NDA parliamentary party meeting

New Delhi: Ahead of the proceedings of the Parliament Session for Tuesday, MPs from National Democratic Alliance converged for a meeting in Parliament premises.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP National President JP Nadda along with Union Ministers and other MPS were seen arriving for the meeting this morning.
The NDA's parliamentary party meeting in being held at GMC Balayogi Auditorium of the Parliament Library Building (PLB).
Various NDA leaders including Giriraj Singh, Milind Deora, Kangana Ranaut and Jayant Chaudhary, were seen arriving for the meeting.
Prime Minister Modi will address the MPs, in his first speech to the MPs of the ruling bloc during the first session of Parliament since he assumed office for a third straight term.
BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) won a successive third term in office in the recently held Lok Sabha elections.
The BJP secured 240 seats, much lower than its 2019 tally of 303.
The Congress won 99 seats. While the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance won 293 seats, the opposition INDIA bloc won 234 seats.
A massive uproar erupted in the Lok Sabha on Monday over Rahul Gandhi's remarks. BJP has accused the Raebareli MP of "insulting" the Hindu community.

While the BJP held a press conference later to denounce Rahul Gandhi's remarks, Congress also held an evening presser to slam the ruling party at the Centre.
