Aishwarya Rai gets mercilessly trolled for her Cannes Film Festival 2023 oufit

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, a Bollywood actress, has walked the Cannes red carpet several times. Since her debut in 2002, she has become a regular at the international film festival. Aish has made more appearances on the prestigious red carpet than any other Indian celebrity, with 18 to date. Notably, the actress improved her sense of style for Cannes 2023 by donning a glittering silver hooded gown by Sophie Couture. However, Aish's appearance did not impress online users, who began tormenting her.

The actress could be seen wearing a stunning and distinctive silver gown that was fashioned like a huge hood and covered her head in the photographs that have emerged online from the event. Her floor-length gown was embellished with crystals and tiny aluminum paillettes. Additionally, it had a large black bow accent that was fastened around her waist. Reacting to her look, several netizens expressed their dismay and slammed the actress’s choice of outfit. One Insta user wrote, “Chicken shorma lag rahi hai aluminum foil me.” Another said, “U need a good hair stylist boring hairs (sic).” One troll said, “What’s wrong with her.” One of the comments can be read, “I think she confused the Met Gala with Cannes.” “Looks Disgusting,” reads another comment.

However, a lot of Aishwarya's admirers also praised her and referred to her as ‘gorgeous.’ The 49-year-old actress debuted earlier in a stunning green cape dress from Valentino. Along with her daughter Aaradhya, Aishwarya is attending the famous film festival.
