Nationalist thinker Pushpendra Kulshreshtha appealed to people to watch the film "Godhra"

One of the most talked about films of this year, "Accident or Conspiracy: Godhra" released in theatres last week. The film has been well received by the audience and film critics. The film is still running in theatres for the second week and audiences are still flocking to the cinema halls to know what really happened in the Godhra incident. This film, which introduces the dark side of the Godhra incident, actually unravels the layers that have been hidden for the last three decades.

When the filmmakers came to know that people who believe in the principle of "Nation is supreme" want to watch this film, the filmmaker organized a special screening of the film for them. This time the special guests were nationalist thinker Pushpendra Kulshreshtha, renowned Supreme Court lawyer Ashwini Upadhyay and many other dignitaries. This screening was organized on the special request of Pushpendra Kulshreshtha.

The filmmaker has organized some special shows for distinguished people of the country earlier as well. A screening was also organised in Godhra and Ahmedabad, which was exclusively for the family members of the kar sevaks who were burnt alive in the Sabarmati Express. Many people were seen crying inside the cinema hall during the show.

On July 23, 2024, Pushpendra Kulshreshtha posted an invitation card for the screening of the film Godhra on social media X, writing: “Tomorrow 24th July at 06:30 pm I and many of our colleagues will be at the forefront to boost the morale of all the Sanatani warriors who made the film “Godhra” on Godhra, you all are uninvited.”

Ashwini Upadhyay, a well-known lawyer of the Supreme Court of India, writes on social media: “Accident or Conspiracy:: Godhra, this film courageously shows the bitter truth of the massacre of 59 Hindus in the Sabarmati train in 2002. State governments should make it tax free.” Upadhyay also shared a short video clip with this post.

Producer BJ Purohit has already announced that 10% of the earnings from the film will be distributed directly to the families of the 59 people killed in the Godhra train incident. During the recent screening of the film in Godhra and Ahmedabad, most of the cast and crew of the film met the families of the victims of the Godhra incident and tried to know their feedback on whether they have made the right efforts towards exposing the truth behind the most controversial case of the country.

The film "Accident or Conspiracy Godhra" has been in the news due to several censorship issues. The censor board conducted trials in different stages and the makers had to wait for a long time for the results. After getting the censor certificate, the film was released on July 19 in Hindi as well as Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
