First Ever Fusion Of Folk Music Of Rajasthan With Punjabi Rap, Manesha A Agarwal's 'Banna Re' Crosses 10 Million Views

Jaipur: Singer and Folk Art Promoter Manesha A Agarwal’s 'Banna Re' hits biggest milestone as it crosses 10 Million views on Youtube. ‘Banna Re’ is the first ever fusion of folk music of Rajasthan with Punjabi rap and has been widely loved by listeners across the world. Released by India’s prime music label, Times Music, the song features, leading rapper, Mellow D. 

As a Folk Art Promoter, Manesha through her Arpan Foundation, promoted folk artist, Bundu Khan from Jodhpur - his alap interludes feature as some of the most riveting parts of the song.

On the occasion, Manesha A Agarwal said, “This one’s from me to the music and artists of my land, Rajasthan. The huge success of the song is because of my fans". 'Banna Re' is a showcase of all things Rajasthan. The video of the song is shot in a quaint Haveli in the remote interiors of Chaksu, Rajasthan and it reflects the old world charm of the State in all it's glory and glamour.
