Kiara Advani's replacement is still being sought by Ashutosh Gowarikar for his ambitious film Karram Kurram

For his ambitious movie named 'Karram Kurram,' which is based on the emergence of a well-liked FMCG chain, filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker will don a director's cap. The movie's principal actress, Kiara Advani, had been signed up to portray the part, but she decided against taking the part. According to the most recent information, Ashutosh is still having trouble finding a replacement, and as a result, the movie is being postponed.

The Kabir Singh actress reportedly left the project in October of last year. Some media sources said that she didn't match the role, while others claimed that the choice was made by the producers because she didn't have enough commercial standing. The precise cause of Kiara's departure from the project is still unknown. Although several performers were considered for the lead part and some went through the audition process, the producers were unable to identify the right actress. According to a person familiar with the situation, the producers still haven't decided on a celebrity to take Kiara's position. The source did not elaborate on the actress' decision to withdraw from the project, but did note that Kiara made the decision due to her jam-packed work schedule and other obligations.

The insider added, “The film was supposed to go on floors early this year. And then, it was pushed to sometime after Diwali. There is still a lot of ambiguity as to when the first schedule of the film is likely to begin.” According to the source, a sizable set for Karram Kurram would be built in Mumbai's Film City to resemble the Girgaum chawl where the women started their company. To produce a set like that, it will take a month or two.

Kiara is preparing for the premiere of her movie Satyaprem Ki Katha, which she co-starred in alongside Kartik Aaryan.
