Kiara Advani channels her inner queen as she shuts down marriage talk: I am well settled without marriage

Mumbai (Maharashtra): Kiara Advani is on a roll as she is coming up with some amazing blockbusters on-screen and digitally. Right from Guilty to Lust Stories and Kabir Singh to now Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, the actress is riding high on the success of her films. Kiara is currently working on the promotions of her upcoming Dharma movie ‘JugJugg Jeeyo’ with Varun Dhawan, Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor. The cast along with the producer Karan Johar arrived at the trailer launch event of their film on Sunday, May 22.

While interacting with the media, it was obvious that questions about marriages and divorce would be raised as per the theme of the film. As a result, Kiara Advani, who is rumoured to be dating Siddharth Malhotra was asked when she would “settle down and get married”. Being the witty charmer that he is, Karan Johar chimed in between, asking the questioner, “Meri shaadi ke baare mein aapne kuchh nahi poocha, main 50 ka hone ja raha hoon. Aapko kya lagta hai main shaadi ke kabil nahi hoon? Bhaiya, hum bhi shaadi kar sakte hain (You did not ask me about my marriage although I am on the verge of turning 50. Do you think I am not worthy of getting married? Brother, even I can get married).”

To this, the paparazzi replied by calling Johar ‘multi-talented’. The filmmaker quickly countered with an iconic comeback, “Shaadi koi talent nahi majboori hoti hain (Marriage is not a talent but a compulsion).”

Kiara finally replied to the question with a boss lady reply that silenced everyone who wanted to know about her marriage plans. Kiara stated, “Bina shaadi kiye bhi main well-settled ho sakti hoon right? Main well-settled hoon, main kaam kar rahi hoon, kama Rahi hoon, khush hoon (I can be well-settled without marrying anyone, right? I am well-settled; I work and I earn and I am happy).”

With that, Kiara Advani reminded everyone of her character, Nanki Dutta, and we have to say that we are ‘Guilty’ of fangirling over the actress for her savage reply.
