Has Varun Dhawan indirectly confirmed Kriti and Prabhas' relationship?

Mumbai (Maharashtra): Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon are currently busy promoting their movie Bhediya. The on-screen couple made an appearance on the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa on Sunday for the same. They both could be seen having a good time on the show. During a fun banter, Varun seemingly dropped a clue that Kriti is dating Prabhas when he began to share his co-star’s relationship status. The Badlapur actor hinted that Kriti was dating the actor from the movies, Baahubali and Saaho, without really naming him. It appears that fans agree with Varun’s hint about the already rumoured relationship.

On the show, Karan Johar and other judges asked Varun to mention a few unmarried Bollywood actresses. Varun's list did not include Kriti's name. In a video that has gone viral on social media thanks to the actors' fans, Karan asked Varun why Kriti's name wasn't on the list. Varun answered, “Kriti ka naam isiliye nahi tha kyunki Kriti ka naam kisi ke dil me hai. Ek aadmi hai jo Mumbai me nahi hai, vo iss waqt shooting kar raha hai Deepika (Padukone) ke saath.” 

As others laughed, Kriti raised her hands in annoyance at Varun's remark. Although Varun did not mention Prabhas’ name, fans started assuming the project is a multilingual movie featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Prabhas. They are not, however, presently filming together. Fans have brought out this inconsistency and questioned whether Varun is only “creating publicity for Adipurush”. 

However, there have been rumours about the relationship between Kriti and Prabhas for some time. In Om Raut's epic Ramayana adaption Adipurush, which also stars Saif Ali Khan and Sunny Singh, Prabhas and Kriti are co-starring. Fans are eager to get the stars' official declaration of their romance even though they have been shy about it.
