"Our stand is very clear, we do not need to go to any side..." INLD Arjun Chautala on backing parties
Rania: Ahead of the impending bitter battle in Haryana, INLD candidate from Rania, Arjun Singh Chautala, declared on Tuesday that he is certain that he will not be supporting any party.
"We have continuously worked hard, we went among the people. I am confident that our hardwork will yield results..Our stand is very clear, we do not need to go to any side..." he said.
Meanwhile, Abhay Singh Chautala of the INLD (Indian National Lok Dal) is trailing with 27,421 votes, behind by a margin of 6,346 votes. He is a member of the Haryana Legislative Assembly from Ellenabad and has held various positions in Haryana Legislative Assembly.
According to the latest update from the Election Commission, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini is leading from the Ladwa constituency.
He is leading with 840 votes over Congress' Mewa Singh. Congress' Bhupinder Singh Hooda is leading from the Garhi Sampla-Kiloi seat with 16,823 over his nearest rival from BJP Manju.
As per the election commission data between 4-9 rounds of counting has been completed in most of the 90 constituencies in the region. Meanwhile the Bharatiya Janata Partyis leading in 28 seats as of 10:15 AM.
With the counting currently underway, the trends by the Election Commission of India have indicated that in Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu Kashmir National Conference and Congress alliance has crossed the halfway mark with leads in 47 seats as per trends released by the Elections commission at 10:15 AM.
The voting results decide the electoral fate of several former ministers including Tara Chand, Muzaffar Baig, Raman Bhalla, Basharat Bukha along with Omar Abdullah, Ravinder Raina, Yousuf Tarigami and several others.
