Taking a dig at Bollywood, Manjinder Singh Sirsa said that the people of Bollywood are immersed in drugs themselves and made films like 'Udta Punjab' infamous to Punjabis around the world.
After the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, the drug angle that came out in the CBI investigation is now being investigated by the NCB. The NCB has so far arrested 18 people on this matter.
At the same time, Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) MLA Manjinder Singh Sirsa has filed a complaint against Karan Johar, producer and director of Bollywood films, on an old party video. Taking a dig at the Mumbai Police, he said that if this action had taken place only last year, Sushant would have been among us today.
During the conversation, Manjinder Singh Sirsa told that a party was given in Karan Johar's house, in which drugs were served. He had also submitted the video of this party to the Mumbai Police for the first time and asked to take action on the matter, but no action was taken on it.

In this conversation, he said that I met NCB Chief Rakesh Asthana about this when the drugs again arose in the Sushant case. He told that the NCB Chief has assured him to take action on this matter.
He said that if the Mumbai Police had taken any action on this complaint only last year, then probably Sushant would have been with all of us today.
Taking a dig at Bollywood, he said that the people of Bollywood are immersed in drugs themselves and maligned Punjabis around the world by making films like 'Udta Punjab'. Manjinder Singh Sirsa said that Bollywood should audit those few people and take action against them so that the entire Bollywood is not infamous.
